This t-shirt pays homage to one of the most common and recognizable airplanes in the sky: the 737. More than 12,000 737s have been produced across four generations, but it all started in 1967 with this design. The first 737 borrowed the 707’s six-across seating, with a cigar-shaped JT8D engine pods under each wing and a low-to-the-ground stance conducive to loading bags and passengers at airports without jet bridges. Various upgrades were developed over the years, but the original design of the Seven Thirty Seven endures. Around 40 737-200 airframes remain active worldwide and it’s one of the few jet airliners that can operate easily from remote gravel airstrips.
